W&S Legal Milestones

1998

Williams & Petro Co., LLC was formed in 1998 by business partners Richard A. Williams and John P. Petro with the goal of providing exceptional legal services to Ohio businesses and individuals.

1999

The office moves to the heart of downtown Columbus across the street from The Franklin County Courthouse and other prominent legal facilities. Over 20 years later, our Columbus, Ohio location continues to serve as the firm’s home office.

2000-04

Lorree L. Dendis, Susan S.R. Petro, John J. Petro and Josh L. Schoenberger joins the firm expanding the firm’s ability to provide a wider range of legal services to its current and future clients.

2008-10

W&S opens a Cleveland and Cincinnati office allowing the firm to provide superior legal services to business and individuals throughout all of Ohio’s 88 counties.

2015

After John P. Petro’s retirement from the practice of law, Josh L. Schoenberger joins Richard A. Williams as his business Partner and the firm changes its operating name to Williams & Schoenberger, Co., LLC.

2018-20

Attorneys Arnold F. Finkbine and Brian A. Williams join the firm and W&S continues to expand its diverse group of attorneys who excel in providing a wide range of legal services throughout the entire State of Ohio.

2021

Attorney Darrin Zombro joins W&S’ legal team practicing in the area of insurance defense litigation and other insurance related matters.

2022

Attorney Susan S.R. Petro is made Partner.

2023

Attorney Arnold F. Finkbine is made Partner.
